I wrote and lettered this four-issue war romance, set during the Vietnam War and the decades that follow. My first collaboration with Paul Tucker, described by Garth Ennis as “a comic about something that actually counts.”

What began as a six-issue assignment became an ongoing series. I work closely with Marvel’s games division to build stories around one of the largest multiplayer games in the world.

This five-issue series gave me the chance to imagine a new future for Tommy Oliver, the biggest star in Power Rangers history. A post-apocalyptic adventure with a strange little family at its heart, exploring how we make peace with the people we used to be.

I wrote this four-issue series about mutant survivors suffering the fallout of extreme trauma, while debating the difference between terrorism and freedom fighting--with jokes. It also introduced the first canonically queer characters in TMNT, with their relationship central to the story.

I developed the origin of a new Power Rangers villain: a non-binary alien whose grief drives them to conquer death. This one-shot let me bring cosmic horror and a sympathetic monster to the franchise, drawing a wildly enthusiastic response from fans and a massive amount of earned media for the franchise.

The assignment was to capture the humor of the Clue movie while building a new continuity. I wrote a six-issue murder mystery with a reimagined cast, far more diverse than any previous iteration, and a narrator who knows he’s in a comic and has plenty to say about it.

I worked closely with IDW and Hasbro to rebuild G.I. Joe around ordinary people resisting Cobra. The series introduced the franchise’s first canonically queer characters and won a 2020 Suicide Awareness Voices of Education award for Scarlett’s PTSD story, developed in consultation with veterans and mental health professionals.

I sent Spider-Man chasing Scorpion across all five boroughs for the U.S. Open’s celebration of New York City. The assignment turned the tournament’s theme into a citywide superhero adventure, with more than 40,000 copies offered free to fans during Fan Week.

I wrote this Avengers comic for Pfizer and BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccination campaign, navigating exceptionally strict language requirements to communicate vaccine benefits accurately. I built the story around a family’s care for one another, bringing warmth and superhero adventure to a brief that demanded precision in every line.

One of several Marvel/Kith comics I’ve written, this one-shot brought Marvel and Capcom characters together for Kith’s fashion collaboration. Drawn by Ron Lim and packaged with collectible ASICS sneakers, it made an original comic part of the experience of buying the collection.
