Volar: The Concacaf 2025 Comic

Volar is Concacaf*'s first mascot: a seabird superhero who protects the region's game. I wrote the comic that introduces him, weaving his origin together with the history and culture of football across North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

This was one of those branded projects with a lot of moving parts and a very specific job to do. The trick was making all of that information feel like an actual superhero story, with a character kids could immediately understand and root for.
