Marvel Rivals: Unleashed was my second extended trip through the world of the hit video game Marvel Rivals. It starts with The Thing, Squirrel Girl, Rocket Raccoon and Jeff the Land Shark at the beach, then gets considerably less relaxing.

The fun of writing these comics is taking the huge game roster and letting the characters bounce off one another away from the battlefield. Francesco Archidiacono, Eleonora Carlini and Fabi Marques made the action move beautifully in the vertical-scroll format, while keeping the jokes and quieter character beats alive.
